Hosting at home can be stressful. At The Social Space, we’ve designed the perfect 1,200 sq. ft. gathering spot in New Richmond, WI, allowing you to be the ultimate host without the cleanup or clutter.
Located conveniently off Highway 64, we are just 15 minutes from Stillwater and 20 minutes from Hudson, making us the premier destination for events in Western Wisconsin.

We had our baby shower at The Social Space and it was just perfect! A great environment with plenty of tables and seating you can decorate how you'd like for your special day. The balloon arch was beautiful. Brandon was so friendly, quick to respond, and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We just wanted to give a huge shoutout and thank you to the Social Space located in New Richmond. We held our team Christmas party there last night. They had a beautiful, spacious, and clean space. It had such a warm environment. The communication was impeccable and made our event seamless. If you are ever looking for a space for an event, we HIGHLY recommend the Social Space.

The Social Space is a wonderful venue for so many different gatherings. We shot a podcast with 15 student/athletes and it was perfect. We ordered food from Gibby’s Lanes, and we just walked it over. The kids loved the space. Highly recommended!

Hosted our family Christmas at the social space. Such an upscale, spacious venue to host parties and events. Enjoyed eating at the tables then transitioning to casual sitting area. Highly recommend your next event at the social space.

I had my daughter's baby shower here and she loved it. A cozy but plenty of room, clean, and classy space. Everything about renting it was also very easy. I would recommend this space for multiple types of events. I have another daughter that will be getting married in 2026. Our organization is being featured in a magazine this fall and we needed new photos. We decided to try out The Social Space and they turned out perfect! The space offers a variety of different backdrops and ‘scenes’ for photos and has amazing lighting! Their flexibility with use of furniture is a huge plus, too. Being in the space gave us new ideas to host future events there, as well! We can’t wait to rent this space, again.

Great event space! We held a baby shower. Comfortable, clean, light. Has a good, welcoming and positive vibe. Some guests had trouble using mapping apps to find to location, so suggest including landmarks in invitations. Other than that, many compliments from guests on the space. Could not have been more pleased with The Social Space and the owner's customer service.

The Social Space New Richmond was absolutely perfect for hosting my daughter-in-laws baby shower! Brandon (owner) was fantastic with communication and helped us make the last minute pivot from the Hudson location. The switch was seamless and the new space is even better than the Hudson location! Much more parking available and also attached to a nice restaurant called Gibby’s that guests could get drinks from. The space itself is very inviting and updated. We loved all the furniture and the arch was a great bonus feature to have. Made decorating a breeze!

My partner and I were recently married at The Social Space. It was the perfect venue for our wedding. The owners were awesome to work with! They replied quickly to our questions and when we arrived to the venue they had just cleaned it spotless and had wedding music playing for us. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to be married at The Social Space.

I used the Social Place for my baby shower and it was absolutely wonderful! Very clean and a nicely decorated space. The space is incredible for so many different events. The owners are so kind and very fast at replying! Definitely will be renting this space out again for any future important events!

This was the perfect space to host a bridal shower! There is a lot of room for seating without being too crowded. The kitchen area was perfect and nice having a fridge and microwave available. There were a lot of compliments from the guests on the space! Will definitely use again for events in the future! Thank you!!

I had my daughters baby shower at The Social Space! It was nice to have a space that would accommodate the guest list we had. It was very convenient and easy to rent. I had guests at the shower ask about it as they were interested in renting the space as well. I would only suggest if you needed to display items to bring your own table for that. We brought two extra tables for desserts and a mimosa bar. I would also like to suggest a place to hang coats for winter parties. Other than that, it was perfect for our event.

I hosted my sister’s bridal shower here and we just loved it! Everyone who attended complimented on how beautiful the place was. Having rented the place without seeing it myself I have to see I was very impressed. It’s spacious, modern, and I loved that there are different seating options There was awesome lighting and the spot for photos was a nice touch. The owners were quick to reply and answered all of my questions. They even complimented us on our clean up which I thought was sweet 🥰. I think the social space is an excellent addition to the community and I will definitely be returning when I have an event.

I hosted a 50th birthday party here. It’s a great space. Beautifully decorated. Was very clean when we arrived. Great communication from owners. Very reasonably priced for a small venue setting. Would definitely recommend & book again for any event that I need more space for.

I said I would update more...I am. Event cancelled with 1 month before event, because Town of Hudson closed them down. I've seen online blaming of the township. However, if the correct permits and requests had been in order before opening, that would not have been an issue. This was poor planning, and management by the owners. They've ruined someone's wedding, and other events. They did provide a full refund, but with 1 month before our event, and in June, there is literally nothing open, other than their center that is a good 15+ miles away, when many people are already coming from the cities.

The Social Space was the perfect location for my sister's Christmas themed baby shower. The owners even had a full size Christmas tree up that was perfect for photos! I loved the furniture layout as there was ample seating at tables while there were also cozy couches and chairs to sit on. The extra long counter and large fridge were wonderful for all of the food we had. The cherry on top was how helpful, friendly, and kind the owners were. They answered every question I had in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend the Social Space for any of your small gatherings!
